Pear Cranberry Jalapeño Salsa (Print Version)

# What You'll Need:

→ Fruits

01 - 2 ripe pears, diced (approximately 1 ½ cups)
02 - ¾ cup fresh cranberries, chopped
03 - ½ small red onion, finely diced

→ Vegetables & Herbs

04 - 1 to 2 jalapeño peppers, seeded and finely chopped
05 - ¼ cup fresh cilantro, chopped

→ Flavorings

06 - Zest and juice of 1 lime
07 - 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
08 - ¼ teaspoon salt

→ Optional

09 - 1 small red bell pepper, diced

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Dice pears, chop cranberries, finely dice red onion, seed and finely chop jalapeño peppers, chop cilantro, and dice bell pepper if using.
02 - In a medium mixing bowl, add pears, cranberries, red onion, jalapeño peppers, cilantro, and optionally add diced bell pepper.
03 - Incorporate lime zest, lime juice, honey or maple syrup, and salt into the mixture.
04 - Gently toss ingredients together until thoroughly mixed. Taste and adjust with additional lime juice or sweetener if desired.
05 - Allow salsa to rest for 10 minutes to let flavors meld. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
