# What You'll Need:
→ Turkey Patties
01 - 1 lb ground turkey
02 - 2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh parsley
03 - 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
04 - 1 large egg
05 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
06 - 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
07 - 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
08 - 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
→ Garlic Butter
09 - 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
10 - 3 cloves garlic, minced
11 - 1 tablespoon fresh chives, finely chopped (optional)
12 - 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest
13 - Pinch of salt
→ Assembly
14 - 8 slider buns
15 - 8 slices cheddar or provolone cheese
16 - 1 cup baby arugula or lettuce
17 - 1 medium tomato, sliced
18 - 1/4 cup mayonnaise (optional)
# Steps to Follow:
01 - In a mixing bowl, gently combine ground turkey, parsley, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, black pepper, onion powder, and smoked paprika until just incorporated.
02 - Divide turkey mixture into 8 equal portions; shape each into a patty slightly larger than the slider buns.
03 - Using a small bowl, blend softened butter with minced garlic, chopped chives, lemon zest, and a pinch of salt until evenly combined.
04 - Heat a large non-stick skillet or grill pan over medium heat. Spread half the garlic butter on the inside of the slider buns and toast, buttered side down, until golden. Remove and set aside.
05 - Add a small amount of oil to the skillet if needed. Cook turkey patties for 3 to 4 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
06 - During the last minute of cooking, place one cheese slice on each patty and cover the pan to allow cheese to melt.
07 - Optional: Brush remaining garlic butter onto the tops of the patties or buns.
08 - Place arugula or lettuce on the bottom bun, add a turkey patty, top with sliced tomato and mayonnaise if desired, then cover with the top bun.
09 - Present the sliders warm for optimal taste and texture.
